Hi, my name is Mckensie. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I help individuals motivated to heal from traumatic experiences, seeking healthy connections in their relationships, or wanting relief from anxiety in all its forms. With over a decade of expierence I recognize the power of listening and being present with difficult emotions.

Therapy doesn’t have to be stuffy and overwhelming. I work to create an atmosphere where you can feel at ease in who you are without judgement. Healing happens when you feel supported and safe to explore all of your parts. That can be done with real honest work and a well timed joke.

I use an integrative, trauma-informed approach that blends evidence-based methods to support deep emotional healing

Accelerated Resolution Therapy

ART is an evidence-based, eye-movement therapy that helps people quickly and effectively process traumatic memories and distressing emotions. ART uses guided visualization and relaxing eye movements to help the brain reconsolidate upsetting memories—without having to talk about every detail.

In my practice, I use ART to support clients struggling with trauma, anxiety, and overwhelming stress. Many clients experience relief in just a few sessions as ART allows them to shift how painful memories are stored in the brain, reducing emotional reactivity and distress. This therapy is gentle, structured, and empowering—helping you move forward without being stuck in the past.

Internal Family Systems

IFS is a powerful, compassionate approach to healing that helps you connect with the different “parts” of yourself—like the inner critic, the anxious part, or the part that feels stuck in the past. Rather than seeing these parts as problems, IFS views them as protective and trying to help in their own way.

In my work with clients, I use IFS to gently explore these inner parts, especially those shaped by trauma. Together, we help them feel seen, understood, and supported—allowing your core “Self” (the calm, wise, and compassionate part of you) to take the lead. This process can bring deep relief, emotional clarity, and lasting inner healing.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

ACT is a mindfulness-based approach that helps you relate differently to difficult thoughts and emotions—without getting stuck in them. Instead of trying to eliminate discomfort, ACT helps you accept what’s outside your control while committing to actions that align with your values and who you truly want to be.

I use ACT to support clients experiencing mood challenges like anxiety, depression, or emotional overwhelm. Through gentle self-exploration and practical mindfulness tools, we work together to clarify what matters most to you and take meaningful steps toward a more fulfilling, purpose-driven life. ACT empowers you to create space for your full emotional experience while reconnecting with your strengths, values, and inner resilience.

Session Fees & Payment

  • 50-minute individual therapy session: $200 per session

  • 75-minute individual therapy session: $275 per session

  • I do not take insurance. However, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

  • I offer a limited number of reduced-fee slots based on financial need. Please feel free to reach out to discuss availability

  • Payment is due at the time of service. I accept payment via credit/debit card or HSA/FSA accounts through my secure client portal.
